Somewhere that ultimately ends in water. A lake or the river. We love to get wet after a frolic.
The owner, the rest of the dogs, and me all go for walks down the road. Either that or down the dirt road. :-) It's fun wherever we go. The owner's usually ride bikes unless it's down the dirt road. :-)
We walk the beach every morning as long as the weather is not horrible. In the summer we go really early before the "nondog" people get there but in the winter it doesn't matter. I LOVE beach!!!!

Me and Sisfur live in the country and have 4 acres of Our very own woods to go walkin and playin in. No need for leashies it is so Pawsome to be a country gurl. I wish all My Dogster Pals could come and walk and play in Me and Gracie Nee's wood wiff Us.

Skye isn't a fan of the water but she loves to run down the shore of the beach. Wow, I was sure the beach would get more votes. Guess I was wrong. :)
We are lucky, we don't have to go anywhere. We live on 15 acres and even have our own pond to swim in and there are five of us, so we always have someone to play with :)
Einny just loves sand so I think he would love the beach.

I think the ideal place is different for many dogs. Some can handle busy parks or streets. My older dog couldn't handle the beach or long hiking trails. And unfortunately Gabby is one of those noisy dogs that barks as she goes by other properties with dogs outside. So we walk after dark on the streets of our small town so as not to disturb.
My favorite walk is through the woods to the pond for a swim :-) I think I would like the beach too, but it's a long long way to the beach, BUT, I would like to see it someday !!!!
I love to walk down the river, to the dock...(the dogie swim spot)....I like to meet and greet the other pups and I love jumping off the dock!! I take swimming over a walk any day.
We like to hike on the wilderness trail next to the river. So kind of a mix of the beach and the forest. I like to splash in and out of the water and run back and forth on the trail. Funnest thing ever!!

Oh, We have a cattle farm and our walk is up and down the 1/2 mile driveway and then into the woods with a walk up and down our creek to cool off!!! There's nothing as special as living on a farm, a leash whats a leash????
ALL OF THE ABOVE!!!! Jack loves to walk everywhere. Yeah, he loves the beach, but is just as excited to go on a walk on the city trail or down a back country road. We do make sure to follow all leash laws though... we don't want to get banned from our favorite places!

This was a very hard choice to make. The parks around my house have so many dog smells to smell. But, believe it or not, in Chicago the city has raccoon, skunk, possum, bunnies, kitties, doggies, squirrels and other rodents to smell--almost got a bunny last night ;) so a walk along the city streets can be quite exciting too! And we love to hike through the outlying Forest Preserves that run almost the entire western edge of the city. Let's face it, ANY walk is a good walk!

I love walking on the trails near our house or in our parks. So many great smells. I often see squirrels, bunnies and chipmunks. Mommy hangs my leash in the garage. Whenever I am ready for a walk, I stare at the leash, then Mommy, then the leash and so on and so on till Mommy gets the hint and off we go thru the neighborhood and trails. I am very demanding when it comes to walks and except at least 2 walks per day.

Our ideal place to walk is in our neighborhood, we have a field, playground, walking trail, just across the drive from our home. Lots of room to play.
Well my favourite place was a wooden trail that led to a beach! I hope the new pup, Sam enjoys it as much as I did.

I love the beach, and forests! Maybe a walk through the forest to get to the beach. I'm sooo glad I found a lake near by that's about a two-mile walk. It will be perfect for exercising Ava when she's old enough to walk that far.
To the neighbor's building materials. Wonderful rabbits hide there which Sarah can't catch, but she has a great time trying. One clever rabbit hides under part of an airplane wing and Sarah makes many a trip back and forth trying to get that rabbit.

Like any standart poodle, she loves to get wet, dig holes, drink salted water and vommit.
It's the cycle of life...
(Liverpool is not really "hot". So we often go hiking! YEAH - me and my squirrel killer).
My dog Annabelle, I think she would love the woods because thats where she is at if she is outside. She loves to hunt and unfortantly love to show it off to us..lol! She would love the park to if she ever got to go to one. She loves attention and she gets excited when around other dogs. She doesn't bark a whole lot unless its somethin she is wanting to hunt but can't get to it. She is friendly around cats she is interduced to. The beach...hmm i don't know if she would or not...she's not a fan of water. but maybe on a hot day. The city..I think would be too overwhelming I would think..but ya never know...
