It is OK. It just goes out as it comes in without any nutritional benefit. For a treat, it is OK but not as meals.

Are we talking cooked carrots or raw. Doesn't the cooked one have some nutritional value for dogs? I really knew at this so I need lots of guidence.

Sure it does, same as for humans. A lot of beta carotene, a tiny bit of nearly every nutrient needed. To get anything but some sweetness in the mouth they need to be well cooked or ground up though.

Here is what Nutritiondata has. This is only an ounce. Maybe a couple baby carrots.
