RE mashed potatoes - it's the fat in them that's of concern. One big fatty diet eaten by a dog not used to it could result in serious issues like pancreatitis.

Oh yes. Canine caviar. Why is that food only 3 stars on DFA? Should I even use that to determine what I feed my dog? Sedona, what's your opinion on canine caviar venison and split pea?
